The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a Student Intern who has a passion and desire to grow their knowledge of creating and managing professional trainings.
This Technical Training Administrative Student Intern will work in Ames in the Construction and Materials Bureau and would be working with the Technical Training and Certification Program (TTCP).
During your time as an intern, you will gain experience in managing the TTCP training program which trains State, City and County inspectors as well as consultant inspectors working on their behalf.
You will get experience in creating class sessions in our electronic learning management system, updating online training videos, creating online tests, all while ensuring quality control of online user profiles and training records.

Requirements: Currently enrolled students in a degree program at an accredited educational institution.
Experience with creating online training is requested but not required.

Duration: Part-time during fall and spring semesters (up to 20-hours per week). Opportunities to continue working full-time (up to 40 hours/week) during the summer semester.
