Job description:

  • This employee will assist in the maintenance and development of cartographic products and database information. The team maintains various data sets and utilizes agency data sets in the development of maps depicting the status, characteristics and other related features of roadways, railroads, trails, pipelines, and hydrography. The maps are generated in a wide variety of output formats from standard paper maps to online data-driven interactive maps. Applicants majoring in Community and Regional Planning with geographic information system experience in ArcGIS, GeoMedia or similar are preferred.

Duration: May-August or Coop (May-December, 40 hr/week)

40 hours/week

Eligible majors: Community and Regional Planning, Geography or Geographic Information Science

Salary starting at $14.41/hr.
