Part-time during the spring semester (up to 20 hours per week) and full time during the summer (40 hours per week)

The position is available only to students who are currently enrolled in a degree program related to duties of the position.

Salary is $14.41/hr.

The student intern will work in Ames in the Office of Systems Planning. The position is on the Modeling, Forecasting and Telemetrics Team. The student will gain experience in Transportation Planning by assisting with work in Geographic Information Systems software, travel demand modeling, data analysis, traffic forecasting and traffic count information.

The intern will also be involved in attending staff, team and project meetings.
